Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament

anyone know if there will be a Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament and what the rules are going to be for it.

So, I see that this is an old topic, but I'd like to bump it up.

At the 2011 Anime Crossroads, I was very disappointed in the lack of Super Smash Brothers at the convention. I didn't care if it was tournament play or free play, but I definitely wished that I could've played the game in some way. It would've been nice if the gaming room had had a Wii or two set up with Brawl and Melee, if even just to play for fun.

One of my favorite things to do at conventions is to meet and play with other Smashers who are good at the game (my hometown is a little lacking in that respect), so I was sad to see that Anime Crossroads did not offer any Smash at all.

I honestly didn't go into the room with video games at all, even though that's the place where I'm usually found. It just wasn't very inviting. (The atmosphere not the people.) The setup was awkward. The room was incredibly long with a few video games in the very back. I just didn't really want to walk all the way back there just to see games that weren't really my speed. Of course, seeing that I didn't approach them, I didn't know what games were available - including SSB. But, SSB is incredibly important.

The arcade games were awesome though. That really helped out.

Heya everyone, I know last year was a huge let down for many on the video games department, but rest assured I am working my hardest to make sure we NEVER have a repeat of that situation.

Hopefully I'll have some good news for you in the next couple of weeks regarding this matter!
